Viruozzo container looses IP

Here is the deal - vzup2date - moving to new kernel - in this case  2.6.32-042stab108.5 to keep this current and fix a security concern.
On bringing the host back up vzlist is showing the containers as running - however alerting is screaming at you still. Check services - sure - all there. Scratch head. Ponder. Check interfaces.... ah... yes... a complete lack of local interfaces would do that to you.
So what has occurred here is ANCIENT client containers are using bash 4.2 that were originally installed with bash 4 are falling to bits.
  /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/network-functions
...is where the issue will be found. It is given away in a service network restart - where a line is cited - in this case 78. Replacing the
. $CONFIG
... with ...
. ./$CONFIG
and then checking that over...
# tail -n+78 /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/network-functions \
 | head -n 1
. ./$CONFIG

... a restart of the network service - and behold - interfaces. Restart services and you should be good to go. You may now thank me.
