Stop Pi4 running Raspbian from checking the SD
Specifics
- Argon case for pi4
- Has an m.2 adapter in the base
- Data and power over a USB3 connector in the back
- No SD is required for the Pi4 in this configuration
- Despite this, the OS continues to check the SD
Solution
Add the following line to your /boot/config.txt
dtparam=sd_poll_once
